Two people with contrasting personalities often come out as a great couple. The attraction grows from the indifferences between them. This story focuses on the lives of one such couple with different personalities. An orphaned girl named Pooja lives happily with her foster father, Vishwanathan. She got separated from her family after an accident. The other members of the family believed her to be not alive. So, they didn't search for her acquaintances. But they grew up in the orphanage, Snehasadhanam. While this happens, she randomly meets Arjun. He is a leading criminal lawyer with enormous wealth but a humble personality. They happen to dislike each other due to circumstances and differences of opinion. Her biological father, Nandagopalan, handles a case where Vishwanathan is involved. Viswanathan is falsely accused of murdering Theja. He gets locked up in the police station for that. Since Pooja cares for him extensively, she masquerades herself as Nandagopalan's daughter to make him take the case. While she tries all means to save Viswanathan, an inmate of the orphanage named Priya blames him for the murder. The reason owes to her getting bribed by the real murderer. The contradicting statements of these two people create doubt regarding the authenticity of the point in the mind of Nandagopalan. So, he excludes himself from the case.

Pooja gets heartbroken because of this and approaches Arjun for taking up the chance. But since Arjun already had misunderstandings with Pooja, he refuses to take the case. While this happens, Arjun's family unites with Pooja thinking of her as the lost daughter of Nandagopalan. They wish to get her married to Arjun and insist on him that. Arjun is generally disinterested in marriage. But he settles to it on one condition with Pooja. The condition is to hold a one-year contract marriage. Pooja agrees to that, and they marry simply in a temple. They pretend to be husband and wife before their family members. But gradually, they start seeing each other differently. How they become a lovely couple and how the truth of her birth gets revealed becomes the storyline here.
