Manu or Manikarnika, a 14-year girl, lives with her father, Morpant Tambe, a Pandit in the court of Nana Saheb and Peshwa Baji Rao 2. From childhood, Manu was trained by Tatya Tope for the arts and tactics of war. Manu knows sword fighting, horse riding, etc. Manu is married to the King of Jhansi, Gangadhar Rao. She gets the title of Lakshmi Bai. From childhood, Lakshmi used to despise the rule of the British and was considered a thorn by them. In Jhansi, various attempts were made by intruders and enemies to separate and kill Lakshmi and her husband and oust the kingdom of Jhansi.
