Hello Kuttichathan is a Malayalam TV series that aired on Asianet Plus in the years 2008 – 2009.  Kuttichathan is a mischievous demon in Malabar mythology who likes to prank people but doesn’t cause any serious harm. The show Hello Kuttichathan is about four children, Kuttichathan and an evil sorceress. Kuttichathan helps the children to solve various problems and in return, the children try to save Kuttichathan from evil. The show is spread over two seasons. The first season comprises forty – three episodes and the second season has thirty – two episodes. Each episode is about sixteen minutes long. This show was very entertaining and suitable for children. Kids could learn the values of friendship and kindness. The show is no longer aired on Asianet Plus. However, two seasons are available on Disney + Hotstar.

Another Version of the Serial...

Halo Kuttichathan is a supernatural entertainment Malayalam serial that was aired on Asianet Plus. The serial had a total of 75 episodes and each of 20 minutes duration. It was broadcasted in the year 2016 from Monday to Friday at 5 pm. The story revolves around a friendly spirit Kuttichathan and the four kids who guard him. The story begins as Kuttichathan arrives from heaven to earth as he sins in Heaven and the Lord sends him away for a short period so that he can regain his purity by doing good deeds on earth.

Meanwhile, a witch tries to locate Kuttichathan so that she can make him as a slave and use him to fulfill her devious plans by conquering his magic powers. Unfortunately, the witch loses him, and he was found in a box and got in the hands of four children Nimmi, Vivi, Varsha, and Ram. The children frantically ran with Kuttichathan and end up in an abandoned house where Kartha, a companion of the witch, bumps into them and threatens them to hand over Kuttichathan. However, Kuttichathan rescues the kids from Kartha and befriends with them. The kids also name him as Mowgli.

In each episode, they face different troubles from the evildoers and try to tackle them and rescue Kuttichathan. As the serial progress, Mayachathan, an evildoer, tries to snatch Kuttichathan from the four kids, and he disguises himself as one of the kids Varsha and traps her in his place. Perhaps Mayachathan also attempts to create a rift between the kids and ends up in vain. Somehow, Mayachathan tricks the kids into bringing Kuttichathan to a temple, but Kuttichathan snubs him and rescues Varsha from his place. The story concludes by creating a curiosity among the viewers whether the kids succeed in rescuing Kuttichathan from Mayachathan. The show was adored by the kids as it was filled with fantasy and magical powers.
