The first season shows the various events in the lives of these four women who deal with life, love, heartbreaks and joys, all together. Damini deals with her career pressure and the risks of a sinking company while dealing with her infatuation with her gynecologist, played by Milind Soman. The first episode in the season shows how she is unapologetic when it comes to sex and is not ashamed to ask for pleasure. She also deals with her Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder and the troubles that come with it. Umang deals with her homosexuality and her family not knowing it. A flashback in the latter part of the show reveals that she had come all the way from Ludhiana, escaping the marriage proposals that were thrown at her. She loved her brother’s now-wife, Pinky who refused to accept her even though she harboured feelings for Umang. In the present day, Umang falls in love with her high-profile client Samara Kapoor played by Lisa Ray.

Samara reciprocates her feelings but only in secret. Anjana Menon is a lawyer working in a good firm. She is divorced from her husband Varun Khanna Varun Khanna is an Indian director, filmmaker, and >> Read More... and is a single mother to their daughter Arya. Anjana deals with the taboos and issues related to being a single mother. When Varun falls in love with Kavya, Anjana finds it hard to accept in the beginning. She also fears Arya’s attention being taken away by Kavya. Slowly, she accepts their relationship and moves on. In the course of the show, she hires a new intern for her company and there is an evident attraction between the two. Siddhi is a single child of very wealthy parents. Her mother is however very strict and nagging. She wants Siddhi to be a perfect candidate for marriage with the right hair, right skin, right clothes and most importantly, the right weight.

Siddhi struggles with all this and the lack of motherly love as well as the lack of confidence due to her body weight. She however shares a very warm and loving relationship with her father. Siddhi is the most innocent of the group and is also a virgin at the beginning of the series but nevertheless, she enjoys her dark secret. The four women meet up once a week at a bar with a very handsome owner, Jeh, played by Prateik Babbar. He is a close friend and confidante to the ladies. A flashback shows that these women had met three years ago in this very bar, on the day of its opening, and since then had gathered there to share their feelings and have good times together. As the show proceeds, we see how these women have their share of highs and lows and how they are always there to hold each other. They travel to goa, enjoy a music festival, fall in love, get their hearts are broken and at the end of the season a major fight separates the four.
