Bengali Tv Serial Potol Kumar Gaanwala

Potol Kumar Gaanwala is a Bengali serial telecast on Star Jalsha from 14th December 2015 to 10th September 2017. Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni produced the serial under Shree Venkatesh Films. The series is remade in various languages, including Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala in Hindi, Vanambadi in Malayalam, Koyilamma in Telugu, Mouna Raagam in Tamil, and Sakuge Kathawa in Sinhala. It was also dubbed in Kazakh. The story is by Sahana, and the screenplay is by Sriparna. Sudip Paul penned the dialogues. Swarnendu Samaddar directed the series. Upaali Chatterjee and Debjit Roy composed the music.
Potol is a singer. After her mother’s death, the little girl plans to move to Kolkata to find her father. As her mother wished her to have a boy’s hairstyle, she earns money by singing and cut her hair. Her aunt couldn’t recognize Potol, as she has changed her hairstyle. Potol moves to Kolkata by boarding a train. She sings on the train. She was taken to Mullick Mansion by Chandan, and she starts residing there. Potol’s aunt lied that Potol is a thief, and so, the people in Mullick mansion develop hatred towards her. Later, Potol gets hurt in the temple and had memory loss. What happens to her? Was she able to find her father? The rest of the story deals with it.
