Allari Naresh after many failures, he makes a desperate attempt to have a hit and make a comeback through this comedy flick Selfie Raja. The movie had been directed by Eshwer Reddy, and Kamna Ranawat will play as his love interest in the flick and also be one of the female lead characters, apart from this Nagineedu, and Ravi Babu will be seen in other crucial roles.
Plot: Raja (Allari Naresh) is an enthusiastic guy who loves to take selfies, though it is not cleared in the movie what he does. But he had been portrayed as a wealthy person. Now, he falls in love with Swetha (Kamna Ranawat), whom he helps in a movie ticket counter, but she was also the daughter of Police Commissioner (Nagineedu). He learns about the affair of his daughter and looking at Raja’s innocence he gives consent for him to marry his daughter.
However, their marriage does not last long as a strange package makes its way to their home containing a fulminating letter and few pictures of Raja and a lady together, which shatters their marriage. Raja thoughts that he has nothing left to live anymore so he hires a contract killer (Ravi Babu) to kill himself and pays the latter for the same. But the killer did not want to kill Raja, so he brings out specialized partner in the picture, to accomplish something big.
1. The positive points are Allari Naresh as he does justice with his character in Selfie raja. The thing is he is back to his old self and did not do any experiments with this character in the movie. So, all those comedy scenes which were shown throughout the motion picture had been executed very well also the scenes designed on Pruthvi are very amusing.
2. The first half of the cinema has a very decent story line and the second half consists of twists followed by an excellent climax which makes a picture a good watch.
What’s is not there?
1. Even if the flick has good comical scenes and twists in the second half, some of the scenes seem to be meaningless in the movie.
2. The narration does not seem fit with the timing of the flick; some of the incidents had been forcefully ended with the story line which does not provide comical relief to the audience.
Verdict: Overall the movie is a good watch, but you have to leave your common sense at home if you want to enjoy this Motion picture.
