Plot
Baskhar works in a bank and is a dedicated employee. He didn’t get the expected promotion, though he made no mistakes in his job. Frustrated, Baskhar steals money from the bank and starts doing criminal activities, which showers him with wealth. He joins

Star Performance
DQ is an excellent actor who always comes up with different roles and impressive performances. His character, Baskhar, is one such different attempt. His performance is amazing, and we can see him shifting to multiple expressions in seconds during an intense sequence. Meenakshi is good in her role. ” have given him an exciting opportunity to cross the borders. Sachin Khedekar has done a decent job, and so does Sai Kumar.
Analysis
With a decent first half showcasing Baskhar’s work and need for money and setting up the rest of the characters, Venky narrates us an interesting story. But the second half is a bit slow. There are some weak moments, and in a few moments, we question the director. When a person is earning crores, how would his wife keep mum? Won’t she question him? Certain scenes with Baskhar and his wife should have been made well. However, the screenplay is good, with interesting scenes one after the other. The climax is well-shot. A few scenes in the second half should have been cut. The director should be appreciated for his narration. He explains the scenes in such a manner that a common man can understand the scams, banking issues, and other things related to these, though the backdrop is complicated. The visuals are good, and GVP has done a great job with the BGM.

Verdict
Despite a few shortcomings, Lucky Baskhar is a wonderful time pass for this Diwali. DQ’s performance and Atluri’s narration give a fine movie-watching experience! Lucky Diwali to DQ and his Lucky Baskhar team!
