Pragya Jaiswal, born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, studies at the Symbiosis Law School, Pune. During her college days, she took a part in Miss Pune Contest, won the competition, and surprisingly got a direct wild card entry into Femina Miss India 2008 where she got the title of Miss Fresh Face, Miss Dancing Queen, and Miss Friend Of The Earth. After completing her graduation, she decided to join a law firm in Mumbai, but as she couldn’t be there on time, she started modeling for advertisement campaigns for big brands. Pragya also received the Symbiosis Sanskritik Puraskar Award on 22 January 2014 for her work in the field of art and culture. Pragya made her debut in 2014 in the Bollywood movie Titoo MBA. Her maiden film was Virattu (a Tamil film), also scripted in Telugu as Dega.

Seeing her acting skills and ambitions, director Krish gave her a lead role in the movie Kanche. In 2015, she also starred in the movie Mirchi Lanti Kurradu, in which she played the role of Vasundara. Currently, she is working for the film Yevado Okadu, which is all set to release by this year (2016). Jaiswal is also seen in many commercials like Dabur Vatika Anti-Dandruff shampoo, Reliance Digital, Fashion At Big Bazaar, millennium hypermarket for Dubai and UAE, etc.

Vani Tripathi

Vani Tripathi is former Hindi actress and now a National Secretary of the BJP. She is currently a Jury panel of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) being held in Goa. Earlier, she had been working as in the steering committee of IFFI for three and a half months. Currently, she had given the green signal for the screening of a third Sanskrit feature film ‘Priyamanasam' in the Indian Panorama section of the IFFI being held in Goa, which raised controversy. Last year, as a steering committee member of IFFI, she announced that film festival would pay a special tribute to British filmmaker Richard Attenborough, who is best known for his Academy-award winning movie 'Gandhi.' Vani is also now the CBFC board member (Central Board of Film Certification). Earlier this year, Pankaj Nihalani, brother of Govind Nihalani, became the chairperson of CBFC. Vani being now a BJP loyalist holds important portfolios connected with Information and Broadcasting ministry. Earlier, this actress made her debut in Hindi film ‘Dushman” which had Kajol in the main cast. Later, she appeared in two Shahrukh Khan’s films such as "Chalte Chalte" and "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani". After which, she was seen in a couple of few more films such as ‘Dil Se Pooch Kidhar Jaana Hai’(2006), etc. On her strength of acting in films, she got a chance to join BJP and later got married to a Kashmiri Businessman Hemant Tikoo in 2013. This actress was active in the film for a few years only, and she worked with veteran directors like Mahesh Bhatt, Tanuja Chandran, and Kundan Shah. Before making her debut in films, she was associated with theater. She was also a documentary filmmaker on farmer suicides in Maharashtra. She later found scope in dealing with issues of women and youth and led several programs in India and abroad. She held the post of a faculty member at National School of Drama and Madhya Pradesh School of Drama. Vani Tripathy was born in New Delhi on July 4, 1979.
