Sangay Tsheltrim is a popular actor, motor body builder, and ex-army officer. He was born on March 5, 1982, in Bhutan. He completed his schooling at a local school in Bhutan. After schooling, he pursued soldier training at the National Defence Academy(NDA) in Pune. He also completed the young officer's training.

Sangay began his career as an army officer and also served as a captain in the royal bodyguards. Later on, Sangay realized his potential and pursued his passion for bodybuilding and modeling. In 2013, he took voluntary retirement from the army.

In 2015, Sangay won an Asian gold medal in bodybuilding. In 2017, he also won the Mr. Bhutan title. On the other hand, he also entered the entertainment industry.
