Plot
ACP Arjun is appointed to solve some murder cases and chain snatching cases in Chennai. Soon, it is found out that a techie gang led by a youngster is responsible for all the crimes. Arjun takes vigorous steps to trap the gang. Were they get caught? What was Arjun’s plan, and how did he trap them? What is the main motive of the gang? The answers follow the rest of the story.

gets a big thumbs up! Kartikeya has earned a solid villain role, and he has done it with perfection. Huma Qureshi is good in the given role, Achyuth Kumar, Sumithra, Raj Ayyappa, and others have done their best.
Analysis
Undoubtedly, Valimai is one of the biggest action thrillers in Indian movie history. Ajith has done a perfect job choosing an action flick to satisfy his fans. He has given his fullest in the action sequences, and his risky action sequences get appreciation. The screenplay is racy, and the dialogues are pretty decent. However, the sentimental part didn’t work much. The songs by Yuvan and the BGM by Ghibran are fantastic. Nirav Shah’s aerial shots steal our eyes. Dhilip’s action choreography raises the brows. The action sequences were super exciting and a treat to watch. The editing should have been better. Certain scenes should have been chopped to bring down the running time by 15 minutes.

Verdict
After a couple of films, Ajith has tried a complete action entertainer with director Vinoth. Their second combination is worth watching if we exclude some lengthy scenes. Valimai – Festival for Ajith fans!
