Prajan, who is famous in small screen, does quite a decent job. Richard, as the assistant commissioner, takes up a supporting role, but does what is required of him with utter conviction. Karunas also impresses us with his delivery. Ashmita is quite ok.
Director Mohan is impressive in his first film and takes the film forward in a different manner. He has not only directed the flick but also penned the story, screenplay, songs and dialogues. The movie is in the setup of Old Washermanpet and North Chennai.
• The cinematography of Farooq is outstanding. In fact it is one of the major highlights of the movie.
• The movie is realistic.
• The music of Jubin is one of the major assets of the movie. The BGM is also equally good.
What’s not there?
For a movie of thriller genre, there are some exaggerated emotions that could have been avoided.
A commendable first-time effort.
