Coming to the story… Karthik and Mellina are the lawyers, who started to love each other at their first sight. They do not know their fate that they will be the rivals soon. They both get into a deal that, whoever gets a case first can stay and the other one has to leave that place. They start to hunt for the case and they both get the same case for their fate. A fight between the village leaders Kaathamuthu and Maruthamuthu is the case and they both have to appear against each of them. It is also said that there is a CD, which is the only evidence for a murder. It is a policeman behind that murder.
The story travels in a way that, the CD is in the hands of Mellina and the cop follows her. The story is a mixture of different movies and the CD sequence resembles that of a video cassette sequence in the Sathyaraj movie Nadigan. Kaathamuthu and Maruthamuthu roles are done by Pasupathy and M. S. Bhaskar respectively; whereas the cop role is by
