Plot
Vimal and Pugazh are cops working in two different police stations. Both these police stations don’t have good terms, and they fight over bribes, and other related things. Meanwhile, a group of ruling party MLAs and Ministers enjoy themselves in a resort. It was shot as a video, and the video disc goes missing, stunning the Ministers. Pujita is appointed to trace out the video, and she is posted to Vimal’s police station. Will these cops find the video disc? The rest of the story follows this.
Star Performance
Vimal has nothing special to do in this film. He utters some dialogue and romances the heroine. Only a few scenes towards the climax make us feel his presence. Other than that, his role doesn’t have anything significant. Jana gets a decent screen space. Pujita, too, didn’t have anything significant to do. Pugazh and Ravi Mariya tried their best to provide comedy. There are many more comedy stars present, but they didn’t get registered in our minds.
Analysis
We expected that this film would at least bring some traces of Desingu Raja by Vimal and “
Soori

.” But the name is used just for the namesake, and we find no interesting or fresh content. The film has just a simple one-line story about finding a video disc. For such a simple story, too many characters are written, but nothing is fleshy and fresh. A lot of famous and talented comedy actors are cast, but except for a couple, none of the stars’ presence is felt. In fact, their potential is wasted. If their characters had been designed well with some good scenes and dialogue, it might have impressed us. Vidyasagar’s music didn’t click. While watching the film, we doubt, whether it was Ezhil who directed it.
