Plot
Moorthi is an arms smuggler and a boat mechanic who is very affectionate towards his daughter. When he crosses a video and learns about his daughter’s love, he doesn’t question her, but abducts her lover, Arul, and locks him in his ship. The rest of the story follows the fury between him and his daughter’s lover.
Star Performance
Sarath’s performance is the soul of the film. His menacing look and love for his daughter are impressive. He is accompanied by a Belgian Malinois. Indrajith is good as the captive, Arul. The rest of the stars have done what was required of them.
Analysis
The premise is decent. The film has less dialogue, and the actions speak. A huge bloodshed explains the scenes. The psychological element should’ve been explored more. Though Sarath’s character is strong, his past portions should’ve been revealed well with some emotional scenes. Indrajith’s character is okay, but he should’ve been given enough space to perform. However, it is good to see that the screenplay has no fillers or subplots. The visuals are quite decent, and the BGM served its purpose.
