Plot
Vikram Prabhu who is in Mumbai visits Chennai to see his father, Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and he has been getting treatment at a special home. Vikram Prabhu takes Prakash Raj with him to a textile showroom. He misses his father at the showroom and searches for him. Meanwhile, Prakash Raj gets stuck in the hands of Samuthirakani, who has just murdered a cop. Samuthirakani gets an order from his boss that there should be no evidence for the murder and hence he was asked to kill Prakash Raj. What did Samuthirakani do? What happened to Prakash Raj? Did Vikram Prabhu find his father? Watch the film in theatres!
Star performance
Prakash Raj and Samuthirakani… both are the star performers and we need not doubt about their performance. They had landed on a perfect role here. Samuthirakani emotes excellently well. Although he is a murderer, he tries to come out of that life and live as a normal person and his expressions are very beautiful. Prakash Raj’s performance as an Alzheimer's patient makes us feel that none could do this role better than him. Coming to Vikram Prabhu… he has played an excellent character and his performance is quite natural.
Analysis
Radha Mohan has scripted the film interestingly well. Each and every scene is interesting and the scene where Prakash Raj is caught in the hands of Samuthirakani fastens up the heartbeats. We could assure that whether the film makes a hit or not, Vikram Prabhu would get a good name for his performance. The dialogues are the pillars of the film and we should never forget Ilaiyaaraja's BGM that had played a strong role. The music Maestro has proved once again that without music nothing will look good in the world. However, the screenplay is a bit slow. The production values and the technical values are really good.

Verdict
Although it is a remake movie, Radha Mohan has molded it for the Tamil audiences. This film will be in the list of the best performance movie for Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj and Samuthirakani. People, who want to watch the fast-paced movie might not like this film, but if you are a person who wants to watch a different film from the masala entertainers, this is the best choice, with a bag full of performance.
