Analysis
First and foremost, talking about the film’s storyline, then, Ganeshaa, the writer of the film tried to spread a message, that there are some good police officers as well in this era of corruption. But, the writing of the film is not up to the mark, as he might have tried to write the script more cleverly but failed in his role as a writer, and also, as a director, as he did not seem to take the risk, and an artistic approach which would have benefited the film.Â
Now, talking about the film’s acting, and action department then, Vijay Antony needs to improve his acting. In the film, it was visible that he is struggling with his timing and dialogue delivery. On the other hand, Nivetha Pethuraj did a pretty good job, and delivered more than what was needed, and all the other actors in the film delivered what was needed. Also, the action is average, as the makers used quick cuts in the action sequences, which makes it less enjoyable for the audience.
Now, coming to the film’s cinematography, and editing then, Richard M. Nathan did a pretty great job, as he showcases his talent by capturing some pretty good shots and trying to put an artistic approach to the movie. And that resulted in the cinematography of the film becoming one of the big assets and selling points of the film. But, the film’s editing which is done by Vijay Antony, is below and feels choppy at times and seems like a kid edited the film.
Now, coming to the film’s music and production quality then, Vijay Antony, who gave the original music of the film did a very well job, and the music of the film becomes one of the big assets, and selling points of the film. Also, the film was produced under his film corporation which is a big, and rich production and that is visible in the film production design and sets.
What’s There?Â
• The cinematography of the film is a major plus.
• The production quality and set design of the film is great.
• The music of the film is a major plus for the movie.
What’s Not There?
• Acting by the lead role artist, Vijay Antony is below average
• The editing at times feels choppy and unprofessional.
• The pace of the film feels slow.
• Film’s action is average.
Verdict
For people who just want to enjoy the cinematography, some great music, and nice-looking sets, then this film is recommended, and for anyone else, this film is not recommendable and they can watch something good and can skip this film.
