Plot

The film’s central character is a young man named Sanjay (Karthik Ramakrishnan). He has bipolar disorder (a condition in which a person has frequent mood swings). Sanjay lives alone in a small house because he thinks his family does not understand his emotional problems. He becomes a food delivery agent to earn for living.

On the other side, a girl named Idaya (Nainita Maria) is also away from her family. She lives in a rented house and has to pay various loans. Moreover, she takes care of her little sister. Idaya wishes to own a house where she and her sister can live peacefully. The house owner asks her to evacuate his home.

Sanjay and Idaya live. Soon, they meet each other. The rest of the story is about how Sanjay’s life changes after meeting Idaya and how he takes care of the two sisters.

Star Performance

Karthik Ramakrishnan, who appeared in Bannerghatta and Shibu, gave an outstanding performance in this film. His expressions and mood swings are superb. He excellently executed the character of a man with bipolar disorder.

Nainita Maria gave a pleasant performance. Like her previous films, Trance and Moon Walk, she is outstanding in this film also. Her expressions and dialogue delivery make her look cute on the screen. Analysis

Thaaram Theertha Koodaram is a film full of emotions. It is successful in moving the viewers emotionally. The scene in which Nainita Maria wishes to have her own house is very relatable to the viewers. It is everyone’s dream to fill their life with happiness. Karthik and Nainita’s journey in this film may fill the eyes of the viewers with tears. The cinematography supports the emotional elements. All the emotions are excellently captured. The music is pleasant and strengthens the emotional scenes. Karthik and Nainita gave a remarkable performance.

However, the film progresses slowly in some scenes. The scene in which Sanjay runs after a police officer and the way Sanjay and Idaya meet look very odd. These scenes are poorly executed. The film also has some poetic dialogues which do not create any impact. The love between Sanjay and Idaya is not deeply depicted.
