Plot
Thamarai and her 2 sons, Muthu and Dalapathi, migrants from Tamil Nadu, struggle to make a living by collecting scrapes in Kochi as the breadwinner of the family serves his sentence in prison. Dalapathi, the younger child, strongly desires to study when he stumbles upon school bags. Vishnu an Auto driver and Victor a teacher help them face all the obstacles and successfully enroll Dalapathi in a school.
Star Performance
Lenaa aced the role with suitable body language and dialogue delivery. Leswin and Nandan Rajesh won hearts with their innocent performances. Aju Varghese's portrayal of the Utopian Auto driver is commendable.
Analysis
The film takes a deeper dive into the struggles faced by immigrants and gives a reality check on all the hardships present in their lives. The climax of the film could have been done better. Apart from the climax, the film managed to carry the heartfelt emotions throughout and make the audience connect with the characters.
