Manohari Joy

Manohari Joy is a popular Indian actress who works predominately in Malayalam film and television industry. She lives in Thumboli, Alappuzha, Kerala. Since childhood, she has been interested in music and dance, so she studied dance with multiple dancers. She had studied at the Swathi Thirunal Music Academy, Trivandrum. She also worked as a dance teacher at Chettikulangara High School for eight years. She is best known for her work in Bheeshma Parvam as Annamma in 2022, Malikappuram as Grandmother in 2022, Christopher as Actress in 2023, and Meppadiyan in 2022.

Apart from being an actress, she is also an established theatre artist. She acted in 36 professional Malayalam dramas with 18 theatre groups for 40 years across Kerala, and that gave her a chance to be a part of the serial 'Uppum Mulakum'. Her serial made it to the living room of Malyalees and built her a huge fanbase and stardom. She played the character of Sarada, the mother of Balachandran Thampi, in the serial. The serial crossed the 1000-episode mark.

She debuted on the big screen with the movie Kettiyollaanu Ente Maalakha (Wife is My Angel), in which she played the character of Eliyamma, mother of Sleevachan, in 2019. The movie performed well in the cinemas and she was loved by the audience for her performance.
