Plot
Nandhini is a middle-aged lady, who has been dealing with her divorce and struggling with cancer. Due to her marriage, she had to quit her law degree. Now, Nandhini decides to continue her law degree and joins a college. The twist comes up when she gets caught in a drug peddling ring, accidentally. What happened next? Was she able to prove her innocence? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Meena’s performance is so natural and she is impressive as a strong woman, despite her life struggle. Srikanth’s performance as the guest lecturer Paul, is interesting. Maala Pavathi and Manoj have done a good job. Roshan and Remya have done what was required of them.
Analysis
The film’s plot is not so impressive, yet it is different. Though the performances are neat, some of the characters lack depth, especially, Meena’s character, who is the fulcrum of the story. The backstory set for Meena is not attractive. Her performance is natural, but not her looks. She should have gone de-glam in the required scenes. As she didn’t do that, it looks cinematic. Though the social issue is talked about, we can feel that it is forced. The director didn’t focus on the theme, and the screenplay comes out of the track, at times.

Verdict
Though the movie has some shortcomings, including character underdevelopment and a forced theme, it is watchable once for the performances!
