Plot

The story revolves around a couple, Athira and Akhil. Athira is the only daughter of a political party local secretary named Raveendran. However, Akhil is a party’s worker. Akhil and Athira fall in love with each other. They decide to marry as Athira’s father won’t agree of their relationship and marriage. So Athira elopes from her house. Akhil’s close friends Renju and Pattar asked him to talk to one of the their friend, Rajesh who also married to his lover. Initially when he heard that Athira’s father is involved in the party, he refused to help them but eventually he agrees to help them. Rajesh and Akhil’s friends arrange everything for their marriage. They decorate a temple for their marriage. But Athira’s father filed a FIR for his missing daughter.

The police found Akhil and Athira and took them to the police station. The next day, they were presented in the court: Akhil heir Satish, who was a lawyer and helped him in solving the case. However, Raveendran's lawyer using SSLC Certificate proved that Athira is not 18 years old. Therefore, she can’t marry Akhil without having her father’s permission. She expressed her desire to not go with her father. So, the court sent her to a children’s orphanage. After five days, Athira will be 18 years old, so Satish asks them to wait for five days. Therefore, for five days Akhil hid from the police. After Athira turned 18, Akhil married her. They started living together.

Star performance

The main characters of the story are Akhil and Athira. Nasleen K. Gafoor plays Akhil’s character. He depicts Akhil as a perfect man who cares for his girlfriend and supports her in every moment of her life. Nasleen has delivered an excellent performance. His chemistry with other actors is fantastic and palpable.

Meenakshi Dinesh plays Athira’s character. Athira is a young girl who longs for her lover. Meenakshi’s role made the film more interesting and compelling. She suffers from a genetic disorder. Meenakshi delivered a fantastic performance in the movie. Other supporting casts like Naslen, Mathew Thomas, Nikhila Vimal, Saaf Bros, Shyam Mohan, Binu Pappu, Rajesh Madhavan and Aswin Mohan have also delivered an impressive performance.

Analysis

The plot of the story revolves around a couple, Akhil and Athira. After facing lots of problems they get married in the end. The storyline is quite boring and problematic. It doesn’t give any positive message to the youngsters. The pace of the film is problematic. The movie’s script is unrealistic and boring as the plot is predictable.

The chemistry between main cast and supporting cast is fantastic. The main cast of the movie specifically Nasleen K. Gafoor and Meenakshi Dinesh. Their presence makes the movie more fun. The supporting cast have also delivered impressive performance. The film also have an amazing cinematography. The soundtracks are also enjoyable. However, the film’s script is pretty unrealistic. It is pretty hard to connect and visualize.

  • The film has an unrealistic plot.

Verdict

Despite all the problems in the film, it is a one time watch. If you’re into comedy and romance, then 18+ is a watchable movie.
