Plot
Geeta(Deepti Sati), a medical student, is researching about split personality disorders and is strange about Raja(Chiranjeevi Sarja) who happens to be acting like two different people as she delves more into his personal life. She finds out his “royal” truth.
Star Performance
This film being the late actor’s last film will be hard to swallow especially for the fans nonetheless in his last appearance the actor still oozes charm and his larger than life persona. Deepti Sati is also good in her role.
Analysis
If you think this film is similar to the Shankar directed film Aparachit originally named Anniyan starring Vikram then you’re mistaken. This film is a revenge drama. Raja’s issues are related to his childhood which intrigues Geeta to dig deep into his past. The film’s introduction is good but it turning into a revenge drama kind of ruins it. The room for suspense is over. The film is technically sound. From the cinematography to the music, everything is on point. The actors have done their job well. The film will be hard to sit through because of the recent death of the lead actor, and seeing his last work would be challenging for the fans. The dubbing was done by Dhuruva Sarja and he does a good job. The film from a writing aspect is underwhelming but no one will notice that. The film is somewhere a perfect farewell for the late actor, he’s doing the fan service and has the charm and persona for which he was loved for. Raja Marthanda is an average action film that can be watched once.

Raja Marthanda is the last feature film of Chiranjeevi Sarja and is somewhere a perfect farewell for him, he again has delivered a good performance and has channelised the larger than life hero ideally. You can watch the film once.
