The film is about a teacher who fights for the welfare of the students in a government school and also the existence of Government schools. His method of teaching is new and he even makes the weak students gain interest in the studies with his teaching method.

Star Performance

Shivanna has done his best and this is a tailor-made role for him. Unlike the previous movies that had him as an action hero, this one is entirely different. Rangayana Raghu plays a comedy villain and he fits well in the role. The stars who played the students had also done their best and impressed the audience.

The plot is impressive and the screenplay is gripping. However, we could spot some scenes that make us feel that they are forced and certain scenes are preachy. However, they get faded by the natural performances by Shivanna and Rangayana Raghu. The production values of the movie are excellent and the technical values are also good. The film has done justice to the original with some flavors added for the Kannada audience. The climax is admirable and Shivanna once again proved that he is one among the best stars in Sandalwood.

What's There?

  • The script and screenplay are good
  • The performance of the stars impress the audiences

What's Not There?

  • Certain scenes seem to be preachy

With a good plot on their hands, the makers had picked a super actor to fit well in the role and he has done the justice to the role and pulled the audience to the theatres. Although there are some drawbacks in the movie, they get vanished with the Shivanna element. Drona – watchable!
