Plot
Chinnada Gombe is a film that has a female ghost, who haunts the entire cast. The spirit has a story to tell. It is a love story overlayed on a horror story. The apparition is troubling all the characters for revenge. There is a cop in the film which is supposedly the main hero, whose role is very suspenseful. What is the suspense? Why is the ghost troubling the characters?
Analysis
Tamil speaking director made a Kannada horror film that is not as good as the hype that he had created in the media during the press releases. The director’s idea of turning a horror film into a romantic thriller didn't turn out to be quite as good as he had planned. Moreover, being made on a low budget everything in the movie is second-rate. The film doesn't have an adequate crew, and it is the reason why each element of the film is not of good quality. The graphics are average. There are some scare-inducing moments in the movie, but most of them turn hilarious. Some scenes that are supposed to be romantic turn very cheesy, and add to the horror element. The film is very confusing, and can't decide whether it wants to scare people or make them involved in the love story. The script doesn't do justice to the actor's talent. The screenplay is mediocre, and the direction average. The story could have been better told. The cinematography is not that attractive.
