Plot
Yamadheera is a movie that dwells on the harsh reality of politicians and how they misuse their power. We are introduced to Gautham, an honest police officer, trying to find the culprit behind a mysterious murder case. His honesty has cost him a lot over the years and he has been transferred multiple times to finally being appointed as the commissioner of Vizag. On the other hand, we are shown CM Deshmukh, a powerful politician with a criminal past.
As Gautham attempts to solve the case, he realizes the link between CM Deshmukh and this murder. He also discovers that Deshmukh came to power by tempering the electrical voting machines. Gautham has the truth with him but lacks the evidence to expose Deshmukh. Soon, he begins to find concrete proof to bring down the Chief Minister. The question is, will he be able to compete against such a strong political figure?
