Plot
Arvind Pathak and Madhu are lovable couples, who are leading a peaceful life in their old age. Arvind’s is shattered after Madhu gets hospitalized for a serious illness. When her condition worsened, he had to run for funds to save her. When his relatives didn’t shoulder him, his college friend shows him a ray of hope. Will Arvind be able to save Madhu? Who crossed his life during his stay at the hospital? What impact did Madhu’s hospitalization make? The rest of the film showcases all these.
Star Performance
Anupam Kher is a versatile actor, and we all know that. The Signature’s Arvind is another gem added to his crown. His performance is excellent. He emotes well in the scenes where he is helpless. Annu Kapoor as Prabhakar has delivered a notable performance. Though Mahima appears in a guest role, she has done her part in the limited screen time. Another notable performer is Ranveer Shorey. His performance is watch-worthy. Like Mahima, he, too, appears for a short period.
Analysis
It is the remake of the Marathi film Anumati. Gajendra makes his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film. He has done his job pretty well. The emotional scenes are executed extremely well and impress the audience. The cast selection is appreciable. Right from the lead Anupam to the cameo star Ranveer Shorey, all the actors did their jobs perfectly. The film showcases the selfless friendship and love for the spouse. The visuals and editing are okay. The BGM fits the scenes well.
