Plot
Kartik and Aman are a gay couple. When Kartik went to Sweden for a photography workshop, he had an affair, which Aman learns later. Yet, they reconcile. Kartik’s parents are Damodar and Vasudha. Vasudha is supportive of Kartik’s decisions. Damodar doesn’t accept Kartok’s relationship. At a family function, Damodar insults Aman and also slaps Vasudha before everyone. After this, Vasudha leaves their home and moves with Kartik and Aman. Damodar’s brother, Ramesh, gets a job in Mysore as a eunuch. He abandons his family and leaves for Mysore. Vasudha and Sarita, Damodar’s sister, are close to each other. As Ramesh left his family, these women felt for his wife, Lata. Will these scattered families reunite? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Mona excels in her role, Vasudha. Her powerful performance supports the film elevate well in the intense scenes. Shishir Sharma’s performance is impressive as Damodar. Satvik and Arpit did their roles well as Kartik and Aman. Abhay Kulkarni impresses us with his character, Ramesh.
Analysis
The film speaks about the emotional values of a family. The struggles of a patriarch to maintain his family’s dignity and the struggles of a mother to leave her child to live his life as he wishes are beautifully captured. A few characters are underwritten. The senior actors are the perfect choice. All of them fit well in the roles and make the audience relate to them. The film is technically good, with neat visuals, music, and editing.
