Plot
Pintu stays with his maternal uncle for higher studies. Pammi lives in their opposite house. Both fall in love with each other. After Pintu kisses Pammi, her marriage is fixed with another guy. This phenomenon continues in Pintu’s life. Whenever he loves a girl and kisses her, she gets married. Following this, Pintu and his uncle decided to start a marriage bureau. They named it Shaadi Pakki. With his strange curse, he arranged marriage for girls. Soon, he meets a client, Pappi, a politician’s daughter. He falls in love with her. Will he manage to marry her? The rest of the story follows his marriage.
Star Performance
Sushant’s performance does justice to the role. Jaanya is good in her role, and her chemistry with Sushant worked out well. Ganesh Acharya’s comedy performance worked out well. Murli Sharma and Vijay Raaz registered their presence. The rest of the stars did what was asked.
Analysis
Pintu Ki Pappi has a different plot with enough comedy scenes. However, the subplots are scattered and test the patience. Though the comedy worked out, the rest of the scenes were not executed well. Certain elements are forcedly inserted, making the narration uninteresting. The romance track between the leads is not developed properly. The second half has enough fun elements than the first half. If the writing had been gripping with some more interesting characters, the film might have reached better. Though the film has a decent runtime, due to the unnecessary subplots, it appears to be lengthy. Only the performances help the audience watch the film throughout. The visuals are good. The BGM is neat, and the songs are decent, too.
