Priyabrata Panigrahi is an Indian sound engineer, composer, music director, and lyricist. Priyabrata Panigrahi is from Sambalpur, Odisha. He studied B.Tech. at KIIT University and Film and Television Institute of India(FTII), Pune. Priyabrata Panigrahi is also a Part-Time Educator of Cinema, Sound, and Music. Soon after finishing his studies at FTII studies, Priyabrata got the golden opportunity to work in Lata Mangeshkar’s studio ‘Swaralata.’ In 2013, he got a chance from Sanjay Pattanaik to direct music in his movie ‘Suka Asuchi.’ His career has taken over since then. Pani has also worked in many international films like ‘The Last Rite,’ ‘Work From Home,’ and ‘The Sun Rises In The East’ and many more.
In 2019 Pani got his first big breakthrough in the industry when the film ‘The Last Color’ got nominated for the Oscars. The Mumbai-based Odia music composer and sound engineer have also recently been in the news for his sound recording for one of the most loved series, ‘Mirzapur’ Season 2. Pani received a good response and love for his debut Sambalpuri song, ‘Tui Mor Sapan Re Guri.’
Soon after, he released another Sambalpuri song titled “Ee Bheeja Bheeja Maati '' on 30 November 2020 on YouTube. The song features Sudhasri Madhusmita and Dipanwit Dasmohapatra. Priyabrata Panigrahi himself has done the lyrics and music composition of this soulful romantic melody. The music video is a collaboration project of ‘Pani Sound Music’ and ‘Mousam Pictures.’
