He gushes into the nearby apartment to take shelter. On the same night, Maya, a homemaker, who spots the police shouts for help. When the police enter her apartment, they saw a dead body, which is supposed to be Shekar Sinha, Maya’s husband. Near the dead body, the cops find Vikram. Dev is the investigative officer in both these cases. He has to find out the real murderers. Who are Vikram and Maya? In what aspect both are linked? Watch the thriller on the big screens!
Among the three main roles, Akshaye Khanna scores well than Sidharth and Sonakshi. Sidharth’s expressions are not impressive and Sonakshi has got a minimum screen time.
Although the film is the adaptation of the 1969 movie of the same name, it didn’t impress much with its screenplay. The revelation parts of Sidharth and Sonakshi are shown in installments, which could have been shown in a single sequence.
What’s Not There?
Ittefaq is a slow paced thriller with enough twists and turns in the story. Although it has a lot of thriller elements, it could not match the original. However, the film is worth watching for Akshaye’s performance.
