Plot
After Rohini passed away, Shiv cares for their daughter, Dhara. While dance is just a hobby for Shiva, but aspires to Dara. Shiv wants his daughter to concentrate on academics, per her mother’s wish. Later, he supports his daughter and takes her to Mumbai from their hometown, Ooty, to join her in the prestigious dance academy. Will she participate in the reality show and win the title? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Abhishek is excellent in his role. He plays a caring father who understands his daughter’s feelings for her ambition. Inayat is wonderful, and she captures the audience’s hearts with her warm performance. Abhishek and Ianyat’s dance performances are impressive. Nassar has done his role neatly. Nora has given a convincing performance.
Analysis
The director has beautifully captured the father-daughter bond. Though the story is not new and easily predictable, the emotional scenes make us travel with them without losing interest. The first half has the daughter-father duo in a playful mode, and the second half, they attack us with a bag full of emotion. The characters are designed well, especially Mr Nadar, Dara’s grandfather. Dialogues given to Dara are good and keep the momentum fresh. Shiv’s transformation from a normal father to an understanding father who supports his daughter’s aspirations is finely made. The main drawback is the slow first half, which makes us feel the film is lengthy. The songs are good, and the lyrics are impressive, too.

Verdict
Though the film has some drawbacks, it is heart-warming to see the father-daughter duo. The climax scene is very emotional and may even make some non-sensitive people shed a few drops from their eyes!
