Mithoon Sharma is a singer and music director in Bollywood movies. He is the son of veteran background music composer Naresh Sharma, who has provided background musical score for over 200 films.
Mithoon was born on born January 11, 1985. At a young age, he got a break to compose with
Anu Malik for film ‘Zeher’ for one song ‘"Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein"’. The song was a hit, and entry in Bollywood became easier for him. IN 2006, he got the opportunity to compose along with Pritam for ‘
Bas Ek Pal’. The song "
Tere Bin" which had music by Mithoon was voted as one of the best songs during 2006.
In 2007, Mithoon shared credit with another music composer
Pankaj Awasthi for film ‘
Anwar’. In 2007, he composed all songs for two movies ‘
The Train’ and ‘Aggar’. In 2010, he composed all songs for film ‘
Lamhaa’ but one melodious song 'Madno Re' has been a huge hit and was aired throughout the nation for a long time. But it was his magical score In movies like ‘Murder-2’, ‘Jism-2’ and ‘3-G that helped him to establish his feet in Bollywood. In Murder-2, he has penned lyrics, sung and composed music.
