has finally issued an apology.
The director was subject to massive trolling on social media when he threatened to harm Brahmins by “urinating” on them. Kashyap took out a long post, where he cited examples of death threats and cyberbullying to his family, due to which he is compelled to think otherwise.
But what actually led to this controversy? A few days ago, it turned out that Ananth Narayan Mahadevan’s social drama Phule, which stars

and Patralekhaa Paul as Jyotirao Phule and Savitri Phule, has been delayed due to multiple reasons. Though the Censor Board has more or less cleared the movie, the movie continues to be involved in multiple legal issues.
However, Anurag Kashyap alleged that the current Central government is deliberately delaying the movie due to its anti-Brahmin sentiments, and that it doesn’t want to accept that caste discrimination never happened. He abused and insulted Brahmins, and dared anyone to take action against him. However, this online rant backfired on Kashyap, after he was subjective to massive trolling.
