Abhinav Shukla was born on September 27, 1982. He is the son of an entomologist in one of the Universities of Punjab and his mother is a Hindi and Sanskrit teacher in a public school. He is an Indian Television Actor and a Model by profession. He was graduated in Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2004.
Abhinav was first seen on TV with the TV serial, "Jersey No.10" aired on SAB TV. From then on, he was seen in many TV serials like Geet, Jaane Kya Baat Hui,
Chotti Bahu - Sindoor Bin Suhagan, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and
Hitler Didi. He was also part of the famous all-time reality show, Survivor India - The Ultimate Battle Season 1. He was not only successful in TV serials but also in his personal life. He was very keen with his studies as he and his team participated in the Trsyt-2004 technical festival organised by the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, wherein they won the first place. He is also very successful in the pageant industry. He joined many pageants such as Mr. India. He was selected as the Mr. Best Potential and made it to the top six.

Abhinav Shukla is a well-known Indian Model-turned-Film and Television Actor. He was born on September 27, 1982 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India to Dr. K.K Shukla, an entomologist at the Punjab Agricultural University and to Radha Shukla, a Hindi and Sanskrit teacher at the Guru Nanak Public School in Ludhiana, from where Abhinav also studied in the year 2000. In 2004, he took Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering and Technology in Punjab. In 2010, he was notable for his role as Dev Singh Khurana, the husband of the protagonist in Endemol’s Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi on STAR One. He also played as the antagonist in DJ Creative Unit’s Chotti Bahu on Zee TV. In 2011, Abhinav acted in the soap opera, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on STAR Plus. His role as an Inspector on Zee TV’s Hitler Didi is also remarkable. Later on, he joined the first season of the reality show, Survivor India in 2012, but he was voted out in the 21st episode. He was seen in a cameo role in the drama soap, Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan in 2013.
Abhinav debuted in Films through the Hindi film, Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans in 2014. The film was penned and directed by
Kamal Sadanah and it collected 83.8-million crore on its first week. He received positive reviews from the critics for his performance in the film. This was followed by an appearance in another blockbuster hit film,
Jai Ho which starred
Salman Khan in the lead role.
The actor, who is adventurous and always wants to explore new places, went trekking on January 4, 2014, along with his friend. This turned into a nightmare when they got stuck on the ledge of a hill in Matheran. Luckily, his mobile phone has 14% battery left, enough for him to send and SMS to his brother and
Rajesh Khera. They were rescued after 12-hours by a team of rock climbers. After 5-hours of rescuing, he revealed that they even saved his urine to survive.
