. As they start working together, they start unveiling some dark secrets and corruptions that were so far hidden from the eyes of the world, somethings that even they had never imagined.
This movie is an adaptation of a Swedish book by the same name. There was another movie that tried to portray this book on the silver screen in the year 2009 but wasn’t all that successful. This movie can be considered a remake of the previous movie, only a lot better and markedly wiser than the previous one.
Director of the movie, Fincher, has done a commendable work by putting a lot of time and effort in detailing. He has worked hard to make this movie better than the previous one by filling the cavities in the script that were there previously and undoing all the loopholes.
Rooney Mara has done a superb job as Lisbeth and has given the right kind of attitude that is required out of a gothic and dark girl with piercings and tattoos. She has committed to the role and has made this character eccentric and interesting.
Daniel Craig can be considered one of those elements in the movie that can be considered the weaklings. He seems to be rather distracting with his extremely pretentious Swedish accent that keeps going on and off.Â
Verdict:
This movie shouldn’t be an option for those who are weak at hearts because of gory and grisly details this movie embodies. This thriller movie will extremely shake the ground with its dark theme.
