Plot
Harlan is a popular crime novelist. His family had split and Harlan strongly believed that he could reunite them on his birthday. When he invites everyone and celebrates his 85th birthday, he had a lot of hope that they will forget the past and stay united. But, the next day morning, Harlan was found dead. Benoit Blanc, a private investigator, involves in finding out the reason behind Harlan’s death. After he started investigating, a lot of secrets in the family are getting revealed one by one. Watch the movie and come to know the reason for Harlan's death.
Star Performance
Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Ana De Armas and Jamie Lee Curtis had done a good job. They are seen in the unexpected roles and their performances are very much impressive.
Analysis
The plot is good and the director has designed the screenplay in such a way that it could not be predictable. He had designed the screenplay with a lot of suspects in the death of Harlan. A lot of perceptions and a lot of suspects make the audiences concentrate only on the screen and it is the success for a director who made the movie interesting. The screenplay and the narration are excellent and the stars have done their job excellently well. Till the end, everyone who watches the movie will keep on shifting their ideas about the murderer.
