.' But Salt failed to hit the level of perfection. They have used a concept of a spy in a spy in a spy. The narration of the movie is glaringly mediocre. The vocabulary used was poor, and these words also cast some spell of humor at times. The stunt choreography was cool. But the shots also had some amount of VFX done on it. The continuity of the movie goes missing. Salt's motivation behind her attack spree is not much mentioned.
STAR PERFORMANCES: Angelina Jolie revolves as a mean person in the movie. She delivers a power packed performance, with the right amount of punches and kicks. She does some unexpected heavy stunts. She also speaks Russian with an original and perfect accent. Schreiber maintains a stiffness throughout the movie. He seemed to have trouble with his role. He has some poor dialogues and gives poor expression throughout the movie. Ejiofor is merely a spectator, just like the audience.
WHAT'S THERE? This fast paced movie with some racy action sequences is together an action package. Everything happens at a breakneck speed with a strong cast.
WHAT'S NOT THERE? The scenes that are considered to be a twist were easily predictable. VERDICT: A good popcorn movie for summer with the right amount of salt.
