Plot

President Chambers decided he would not participate the second running elections. He wants to enter in the movie industry. U.S. Secretary of State Charlotte Field is happy about it as it gives her a chance to be a potential presidential candidate. The New York City journalist Fred is unhappy that its new boss will be Parker Wembley, who is a wealthy media mogul. Their policies don’t match with each other. He wants to quit his job but can’t as it is hard to get job. He was depressed and went with his successful best friend Lance to a charity event. There, he meets with Charlotte. It turns out that she is his babysitter, who he had a crush. There will be some circumstances that make them fall for each other. What will happen to Charlotte and Fred? Will their odd relationship will work out? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Seth Roger, as Fred Flarsky, did an incredible performance in the film. His journey to understanding other's opinions. His chemistry with the female lead was brilliant. His detailing of the character was outstanding. Charlize Theron, as Charlotte Field, did a fantastic performance in the movie. She shows the nature of a young and determined woman. She will give her best to become the first female president. She is the symbol of independent woman who fights for herself. Her acting was factual and natural. One would love her and Seth's romance after watching this movie. That much impact they made in the whole film. O’Shea Jackson Jr.’s appearance as the Lance was perfect. His role as best friend was portrayed well in the movie. He did a remarkable performance in the movie. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was great, funny, and exciting. The film focus on the central theme of the odd relationship between couples. The film celebrates the weirdness of relationships. There are no definite roles in the relationship, in the message given in the movie. The storyline were well structured and framed. The direction and cinetomagraphy was perfect. The funny nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. The adventurous journey of Charlotte and Fred falling in love is shown in the movie. The film has a good theme and message to the audience. The storyline has a fresh concepts making it unique. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent.
