Plot
In 1978, Michael Myers escaped from the execution after Hawkins accidentally killed his friend while trying to save him from Michael. After forty years, Hawkins regrets not allowing the execution of Michael and now plans to kill him when he is back. Michael kills people, even though they helped him to come out. Tommy, Marion, Lindsey, and Lonnie come to know about Michael’s return, and they stay alert. Were they spared? What’s Michael’s plan? Why is he on a killing spree? The rest of the story deals with these.
Star Performance
Jamie Lee Curtis’s performance is impressive. However, she appears for a minimum time. Judy Greer and Andi Matichak had done justice to the given roles. Although Jude Courtney is seen in a mask throughout, his body language speaks for his character.
Analysis
The writers had penned the characters well, and perfect actors were placed in the right roles, and they helped the film reach the audience. Michael’s killings are ruthless. Those scenes make the audience afraid of the character. Although there are some loopholes in the screenplay, the makers managed to execute the film well and make the audience glued to the seats. The BGM and visuals are exciting, and they make the audience travel with the story.
