Analysis
The film stays true to its title “Crazy Rich Asian” with its portrayal of the grandeur and opulence of the upper echelon of the society. The film also does well in staying true to its roots by having an all Asian star cast. The struggles of marrying into a family with a better financial background and the struggles of being an Asian-American and not fitting into either of your cultures is portrayed perfectly.

Verdict
“Crazy Rich Asians” is the perfect start for Asian representation in Hollywood. The whitewashing of Asian characters in Hollywood had been going on for decades. A film with an all-Asian cast is the perfect herald for better representation. The film also depicts the struggles in love and the struggles of Asian-Americans well. The film would be a great watch for romance, comedy, drama enthusiasts.
