Introduction: BURIED takes you to the life of a truck driver Paul( Ryan Reynolds He is one of the dashing debonair of Hollywood. He >> Read More... ). He works under a contractor in Iraq. But he suddenly is back to consciousness in darkness. He is still reeling in confusion and frustration and is angry as to what is going on with him. He soon realizes that he has been kidnapped, and the kidnappers have intentionally left a phone with him. He helplessly tries to contact 911 and explains the situations but darker things wait for him as he anticipates his rescue and an unexpected twist that opens up in the conclusion. What to say? This is brilliant; BURIED would bury you with its action and nerve wrenching suspense that is one hell of a wait.

Plot: BURIED has actor Ryan Reynolds, whose performance is restricted by a limited storyline. But still, he manages to chalk out a brilliant acting performance It is not easy for an actor to act. This is especially the case when the only thing he knows is an unknown goddamned dark place. The director has proven the point that a good movie need not be completely location oriented. But one can perform well even in such weird and not unusual situations and places. What binds the audience to the movie is the suspense that is fantastic till the end. Also, the storyline is brilliant(although it has not visited paul’s past so much which could have been nice but leave it.)which takes you from the US to Iraq in a matter of seconds via phone calls.

Review: The thing is that not that many details have been given to the characters who are being shown as the supposed rescuers of Paul, which is quite good. The cinematography is attention grabbing. The camera eyes have only a small buried place at the disposal. Still it has some scenes that capture the true motions of the picture and is very well crafted and captured. The plus point or the most likable thing about this movie is that it has a pace that is very much satisfying, even though the scenes are supposedly fast paced, you remain stuck to your seat or couch, and that is the job this movie has done pretty well. But the real deal that this movie has captured will arrive at the conclusion. Many would find it unsatisfying. Still, there is a feeling of insecurity(at least that’s what wrapped me) because what started out turns out to be a life-saving mission for a poor man stranded and lost at some dark unknown place. It reveals something more unfortunate and diabolical. If you haven’t watched this watch it and have a wonderful time.

Conclusion: Make sure you don’t get buried in the conclusion.
