The movie Criminal has actor Kevin Costner He is one of the most seasoned stars in Hollywood >> Read More... in it. The actor was the lead during the 1990’s. Even after the turn of the millennium, he has been successful enough in retaining his position as a lead actor. The movie Criminal raised sufficient interest among the audiences as Kevin Costner plays a ‘Split Personality’ in the movie.

Plot

Ryan Reynolds He is one of the dashing debonair of Hollywood. He >> Read More... has done the role of Bill Pope in the movie. He needs to save the world from a nuclear threat but is killed in the process. The CIA Agents are left to transplant his mind with valuable information into another man. It is none other than Jerico, the role done by Kevin Costner. The CIA wants the prisoner to use Bill Pope’s memory to achieve their end.

Star Performances:

Tommy Lee Jones has done the role of a neurosurgeon in the movie. Kevin Costner has done the role of the prisoner Jerico, and Ryan Reynolds the role of Bill Pope. These actors have done their roles well in the movie with a not so good story.

Analysis

The movie is fast as it could be, and there are plenty of action-packed scenes in the movie. The movie has been directed by Ariel Vromen and has managed to abide by the norms of an interesting movie. The introduction to Kevin Costner with neurological complication is quite interesting. He does not hold any emotion, be it love or hatred. The audiences are pulled to the edge of their seats as Costner’s mood oscillates between the good and the bad.

What is there?

The actors in the movie have done a commendable job in spite of the irrational story.
Unlike the previous movie JFK in which the actors teamed up, the story has got something new to it.

What is not there?

Those audiences wanting to see Ryan Reynolds on screen are left with disappointment with a very brief appearance.
All that could be said about the movie is that it is a carefully woven nonsense story.
The action scenes in the movie are not very pleasing.

Verdict:

If you are in for some movie without many expectations, maybe you could watch it for the weekend.
