 Plot
At the movie’s beginning, we see Michael, who is very rich. He has a beautiful house, an expensive car, and a girlfriend. He is a top-notch triple-A level bodyguard who provides security to prominent businessmen and wealthy people. One day he was guarding a Japanese dealer, whom he safely dropped at the airport, but that dealer got shot by someone while he was about to take off. The scene cuts to two years later, now Michael neither has an expensive car nor his girlfriend with him. Even after his triple-A guarding, when that Japanese dealer died, everything was taken away from him. Now, he provides security to not-so-popular people with bare minimum payments. In the next scene, we see a dictator who has invaded a professor’s house and killed his wife and son in front of him because that professor had written something against him. This was an incident in the past, now that dictator, Dukhovich has been caught and that professor has been brought as a witness against him, but the court has rejected his witness due to lack of evidence. Next, we see that the higher commands of the police are making a deal with Darius Kincaid, a famous contract killer because he has some evidence against Dukhovich. In return of which the police are going to leave Kincaid’s wife Sonia, who is now in jail. Agent Amelia Roussel is given the responsibility to take Kincaid to the court which is a twenty-seven-hour long travel. But in the halfway, they are attacked by Dukhovich’s army and had a dangerous fight. After the fight agent Roussel has taken Kincaid to a safe house, where they decide that they need a trustworthy security. Being Michael’s ex-girlfriend, agent Roussel calls Michael for the job. Will Michael be able to carry out the job successfully? The rest of the film revolves around it.
Star Performance
The cast chosen for the respective characters makes the perfect terrific team to successfully and efficiently launch a hilarious action thriller movie. It is one of the best choreographed, edited and action movies shot out there with breathtaking and electrifying visual and sound effects.
Analysis
The Hitman's Bodyguard can keep their audience awake and dazzled through all the action scenes. The film communicates refreshing blasts loaded with violence and pure cheesy entertainment with an exciting set of casts. Reynolds and Jacksons seal the show with their eye-catching chemistry, screen presence, and humor. As the movie is full of violence and abusive words, it is not fit to watch with children. On average, the movie does not have any complex story line but it serves its purpose with an entertaining and fun to watch presentation. And carries you away with the frantic action, and kinetic energy of the movie.
