Kannappa To Now Release On This Date

The makers of Kannappa have decided on a new release date.

Initially scheduled for a release on April 25, the makers have now postponed the release to June 27, i.e. a week after Dhanush’s trilingual titled Kubera hits the theaters. The delay is due to the post production, since the makers don’t want to compromise on the visual treatment they wish to provide to the audience.

Ever since it was launched in early 2023, Kannappa has faced multiple delays. The movie is based on the tribal hunter turned saint Kannappa, whose devotion to Bhagwan Shiva continued to be celebrated in the southern regions of India.
