Bellamkonda Sreenivas is hopeful of a strong comeback.
In a recent interview before the release of his next venture Bhairavam, the actor talked about the concept of remakes, and whether it works for artists or not. Citing multiple examples, including that of Drishyam, the actor said that all depends upon the content. Bhairavam is set to release on May 30.
Sreenivas’s own venture Bhairavam is the remake of Soori’s Garudan, which had released last year. The film also starred

and M Sasikumar in prominent roles, and was one of the few Tamil movies which managed to turn out as clean hits in 2024.
Bellamkonda Sreenivas, like many other Tollywood artists, is in desperate need of a box office success. Since 2019, the actor hasn’t seen a single commercial success. His last solo hit was Rakshasudu, which was itself a remake of the Tamil crime thriller Ratsasan, which had released less than a year ago.
Bellamkonda Sreenivas had also attempted a debut in Bollywood with the action drama Chatrapathi, which was a Hindi remake of the iconic Telugu action drama directed by SS Rajamouli in 2005. However unlike the original, the remake was a complete washout, despite starring the likes of Nushrratt Bharuccha,
