Kannappa Postponed?

Things are not looking good for Manchu Vishnu.

According to the recent reports, the cultural drama Kannappa has been postponed yet again. The movie was set to release on April 25, but has been delayed indefinitely for now. This is because some of the special effects have not been executed as desired by the makers.

Kannappa is based on the journey of a hunter turned saint from Sri Kalahasti, Thinna aka Kannappa. He was a devout follower of Bhagwan Shiva, and he decided to donate his eyes as prasad. However, before he could pluck out both his eyes, Bhagwan Shiva appeared in front of him and not only restored his eyesight, but also granted him Moksha.
