Vijay Sethupathi’s Junga Collection Breaks Vikram Vedha Record!

Vijay Sethupathi film “Junga” released on Friday. Despite the mixed reviews, the film has collected Rs. 52 lakhs at the Chennai box office. This is a lakh more than Vikram Vedha. The film is made in a budget of Rs. 20 crores, which is high for Vijay Sethupathi movie. Vijay Sethupathi produced the film along with Arun Pandian and Ishari Ganesh. Junga has the star cast of Sayesha Saigal, Madonna Sebastian, Radha Ravi, Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu and “Rajendran.” Madonna had played an extended cameo. Director Gokul of Idharkku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame helmed this film. It is expected that the film would collect the invested amount easily, as Vijay Sethpathi has a special set of audiences. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in “Seethakathi” with Archana, “96” with Trisha Krishnan, Super Deluxe with Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni and Ramya Krishnan, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with “Chiranjeevi” and “Nayanthara” and a yet to be titled film with Superstar “Rajinikanth.”
