, the talented actor has been getting ready to play in the biopic of Muttiah Muralidharan, the popular Sri Lankan cricketer. Being born in Tamil family, he supports the Sri Lankan government. After Vijay Sethupathi signed doing the movie, he had been receiving a lot of threats that he should not do Muralidharan biopic. The people who oppose Vijay Sethupathi doing the film, say that Muralidharan has backstabbed Tamil people by supporting the Sri Lankan government. But, Vijay Sethupathi stated that he will not hurt people who love him and he is confident that the biopic is not set to hurt anyone. If anyone is hurt he is ready to apologize for that, stated Vijay Sethupathi.
He also stated that he is not a cricketer and doesn't know the basic techniques in cricket and hence it is a challenging task. He also stated that the biopic not only speaks about cricket but something about Muralidharan's life.
