Vijay Deverakonda’s First Look From Mahanati Impresses!

Vijay Deverakonda, the Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy fame actor makes his debut in Tamil with Nadigaiyar Thilagam / “Mahanati,” the biopic of “Savitri.” Although he has been playing the hero in the Tamil film “NOTA,” Nadigaiyar Thilagam will be his first Tamil film. Vijay plays the role Vijay Antony, who pairs Madhuravani played by Samantha Akkineni. Vijay Deverakonda’s first look poster released and grabbed the attention of the audiences. Nag Ashwin directs the film. Vyjayanthi Movies banner produces the film. Keerthy Suresh plays the legendary Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan plays her husband, Gemini Ganesan. Shalini Pandey plays “Jamuna,” Savitri’s friend and Prakash Raj plays a producer. Samantha plays a reporter cum documentary filmmaker. It is from Samantha’s perception the story has been dealt. The film is all set to hit the screens on 9th May 2018.
