In her recent interview, the actress revealed why she quit the movie industry. Kalyani stated that as she shared the screen space with Prabhu Deva, she turned popular and had been receiving offers to play the lead roles at a young earlier age. But the people who offered her the lead roles called her mother over the phone and suggested to make some adjustments to play in biggie movies and that's the reason why Kalyani didn't show any interest in films. At present, she is married and residing in Bangalore with her husband and kid.
